chemin de la font de mai, 13400 Aubagne
THE athletic challenge for the best of you. Take on Garlaban!
This demanding 12 km route is not for every Nordic walker. On the ascent, the amplitude of the gesture and the stony ground will raise your heart rate. The 1st part of this route will be shaded. For the more courageous, this section will challenge your cardio and increase your physical effort. The DFCI trail, with its series of sweeping bends, will give you the chance to perfect your movements and find the best way to push on the poles. This route is no pleasure for Nordic walkers who have forgotten to push hard on their arms and poles. You'll be rewarded with a splendid view of the whole bay of Marseille and the Aubagne hinterland from the Col de Garlaban. The descent takes the same route as the ascent. You'll be able to work on strengthening your muscles, taking the time to do some leg-sheathing exercises as you make your way smoothly downhill.
