As a genuine management and organizational tool within the Tourist Office, the Quality process enables a continuous improvement of practices, in line with current and future expectations of visitors and tourism service providers.

The Intercommunal Tourist Office of the Pays d’Aubagne et de l’Etoile :

  • is classified in Category I since 2012,
  • obtained the Tourism Quality Mark in 2011, revalidated it in 2018 for 5 years,
  • has renewed the Tourism & Disability label.

  • Our advisors are bilingual and will inform you free of charge about the local tourist offer which is regularly updated,
  • We display our opening periods, emergency phone numbers and seasonal accommodation availability in two languages on our windows,
  • We make it convenient for you to contact us by opening more than 305 days a year and by answering your emails and letters all year long,
  • We provide free access to WIFI “WIFI_OTI” and broadcast our tourist information on our trilingual website suitable for mobile phones and tablets,
  • We are on social networks Facebook, Instagram, Tripadvisor and Google.
  • We provide you with free bilingual maps, plans and tourist guides,
  • We organize and sell a selection of visits, tours and tourist trips that can be booked online or with our travel consultants,
  • We offer a souvenir store in our reception area,
  • We are attentive to your needs and measure your satisfaction by means of questionnaires and deal with your complaints,
  • We respect the requirements of the Quality Tourism brand.

The Pays d’Aubagne et de l’Etoile Intercommunal Tourist Office has been classified in Category I since 2012.

The classification of Tourist Offices, created by the French Ministry of Tourism, is a symbol of national recognition that guarantees consistency and homogeneity in the services offered by Tourist Offices across all destinations in France.

Whatever the classification of the Tourist Office, from category I (the highest) to category III, you will find the same range of services that will meet your main needs.


The Tourist Offices in category I will provide extended services, will have a greater action and role on the territory and will have reinforced means to always better welcome you, advise you and satisfy you.

The Intercommunal Tourist Office of the Pays d’Aubagne et de l’Etoile obtained the Tourism Quality Mark in 2011 and revalidated it in 2018 for a period of 5 years.

Rate The Tourist Office


Tourisme & Handicap is the only State brand that labels tourist facilities and sites accessible to all, guaranteeing reliable, objective and homogeneous information.

In addition to addressing all tourists with specific needs, this label responds especially to the needs of people with disabilities by relying on the four main families of disabilities: auditory, mental, motor, and visual.

For many years, the Intercommunal Tourist Office of the Pays d’Aubagne et de l’Étoile has been aware of improving the reception of people with disabilities coming or living on the territory.
It is for this reason that we are committed to the Tourism & Disability labeling process.

The Intercommunal Tourist Office of the Pays d’Aubagne et de l’Étoile is certified for the following criteria: motor disability, hearing disability and mental disability.

Today, several tourist structures in the territory have been labeled Tourism & Handicap and ensure a quality welcome to deficient customers.
