Depart by bus with your guide for the hamlet of La Treille, one of the "Bastides Blanches" in the novel "L'Eau des collines".
Here you'll discover the fountain from Manon des sources (1952 film starring Jacqueline Pagnol), close to the church from which the famous "priest's sermon" still resounds.
You'll walk along the Chemin des Bellons to La Pascaline, the villa where the writer took refuge to write in the 1930s.
To round off your walk, visit the cemetery where Marcel Pagnol, his mother Augustine and his wife Jacqueline are buried. Also buried is Lili des Bellons, his friend from the hills under the name of David Magnan.
Return by bus to Aubagne for a guided tour of Marcel Pagnol's birthplace.
The little extras: tour with commentary by a guide-storyteller who is a Marcel Pagnol enthusiast and who will be delighted to pass on his knowledge to you/ service provided on a limited basis (maximum 10 participants).
