The herd numbers around 150 head. The chosen method of reproduction is totally natural, with no recourse to artificial insemination.

The goats are fed all year round on the range. This method requires daily outings of 5 to 6 hours. In this way, the animals find their food in the hills on the slopes of the Sainte Baume. It's the diversity of the flora they ingest, and the hardiness of the animals, that give this cheese its inimitable taste, a reflection of the terroir of our Provence.
