Description
Through a hundred exceptional objects, come and explore all the links between the great families of monarchs from the four corners of the world and the Foreign Legion.
Based on an original theme, this exhibition retraces the history of the Foreign Legion through its crowns and the people who have worn them. Sovereigns, kings and emperors have all been linked to the Legion, earning it its first crowns of glory.
The many objects on display, both from the museum's collections and from external loans, evoke the political and military history of France and the Foreign Legion, as well as that of these emblematic figures. Through this exhibition, visitors discover the attachment of the Legion and its men to the oldest traditions of nobility and the cult of service.
