For over 30 years, in the Aubagne region, this traditional company has been perpetuating the handcrafted production of ancestral santons. Born in the secrecy of Provençal homes after the French Revolution to recreate nativity scenes that were banned at the time, nativity scenes have evolved to present little slices of folkloric life. Populated by their clay inhabitants, they present the most emblematic characters of their repertoire to the attentive spectator: the delighted man, the fishmonger, the blind man and his son, or the sweethearts Vincent and Mireille...
