It would be a shame to be so close to the sea without seeing it! Here you are, on the shores of the Grande Bleue, with some effort of course, but you've come to cycle. You can enjoy a refreshment on the terrace of an establishment on the port of Cassis before the climb of the day, the route du Cap Canaille, with its slopes that are occasionally over 15%, but it's short, with only 3 km of steepness. The climb is well worth the detour, and the route des Crêtes is magnificent before plunging down to La Ciotat for a few kilometers by the sea. A route that requires legs on the two main climbs, it's not very long and therefore accessible to less trained cyclists, especially if you make a stopover in Cassis or la Ciotat.
