L’Atelier de Fanny is offering a brand-new one-day workshop dedicated to learning about casting and making molds for santons and animals.
Anthony is truly passionate about the earth and the crafts associated with it
. During this workshop, you’ll first learn about the different steps involved in traditional molding.
You’ll mold a santon yourself, as well as an animal, such as a sheep or a goat.
You’ll then learn how to make your own molds.
Together, you’ll create:
A mold for a santon
A clay mold of an animal
You’ll learn all the steps needed to create a mold so you can later reproduce multiple copies of your own creations.
This workshop will allow you to make a sheep mold so you can produce multiple copies and create a magnificent scene of transhumance in your nativity scene!
You will need to collect your creation(s) later, and for those who live far away it is possible to ship the creations. Shipping costs 20 €.
