Discovery workshops

Discover the spirits creation workshopsat Château des Creissauds with Maison FERRONI. Since 2012, Provence gin, rum, rye whisky, vintage pastis and top-of-the-range liqueurs have been produced here, combining traditional know-how with local roots. Take part in the unique Pastis and/or Gin workshops to learn how to create your own drinks and enjoy an authentic experience in the heart of Provence. And for rum lovers, take a guided tour to learn more about the origins of rum, how it is made, how it is matured and where it comes from. The tour ends with a tasting of exceptional products.

Don’t miss the release of Sylvain Chomet’s film, which pays tribute to the landscapes and imagination of Marcel Pagnol, through the tender eyes of little Marcel.

Preview on Sunday 12 October in Aubagne, then national release on 15 October.

Family activities during All Saints' Day

Musical tales

Experience magical moments as a family with musical storytelling. Guided by Maria, a storyteller and musician, these audio workshops offer a fun and soothing experience. Each season, a new tale is offered to delight young and old alike, aged 3 and over, accompanied by an adult (fee payable).

Workshop on the senses

Dive into Marcel Pagnol’s Little World as a family with a fun sensory workshop for children. Your little ones (aged 2 and over) will explore the world around them through their senses, for a fun and rewarding experience.

Stop Motion workshop

For older children, take part in a stop motion workshop on Marcel Pagnol and bring his characters to life by creating short animated scenes. Guided by two passionate animators, children and families discover the basics of this creative technique for a unique fun and artistic experience. For children aged 11 and over.

Lili treasure hunt at the foot of Garlaban

A family treasure hunt on the Font de Mai estate. Your mission: to save the friendship between Lili des Bellons and Marcel! Armed with a map and Mond des Parpaillouns’ notebook, set off in search of the traps set by Lili at the foot of Garlaban and identify the animals that have come close. It’s a fun, immersive adventure for all the family, and can be done independently!

Family Halloween

Celebrate Halloween in Auriol on 31 October with a witches’ market, a carved pumpkin competition, children’s workshops, a photobooth and a parade through the streets. It’s a spooky and fun day out for all the family!

Guided tour “Thérèse Neveu, our beautiful santon-maker”.

Immerse yourself in the memory of theart of santon making in the person of Thérèse Neveu, a true native of Aubagne and above all the first woman to become a santon maker. The exhibition is presented in the form of a guided tour led by her great-granddaughter, Sylvie Neveu-Prigent.

The Path of Fear

Bring the whole family to the Sentier de la Peur (Trail of Fear) at the Domaine de Font de Mai in Aubagne on 24 and 28 October! On the programme: a night-time walk, fun stalls and a trail filled with witches, ghosts and pumpkins. Get out your costumes and get your torches ready for a spooky and fun time for children aged 4 and over.

Visit Marcel Pagnol’s birthplace in Aubagne and discover something new: Joseph Pagnol’s secretary, used by Marcel during his studies. This historic piece of furniture immerses visitors in the intimate family life and world of the famous Provencal writer.

Do it yourself” workshops

Learn the art of pottery in Aubagne, one of Provence’s leading ceramics centres. There are two workshops on offer: discovering the art of pottery throwing, where you can try your hand at driving the wheel, centring and mounting the clay like a real craftsman; and anintroduction to modelling, using the age-old pincé technique, to shape and decorate your own bowl.
