Our various awards

Category I classification

The Tourist Officehas been classified as Category I since 2012.

The classification of Tourist Offices, created by the French Ministry of Tourism, is a sign of national recognition that guarantees consistency and homogeneity in the services offered by Tourist Offices throughout French holiday destinations.
Whatever the classification of the Tourist Office, from category I (the highest) to category III, you will find the same basic services to meet your main needs.
Category I Tourist Offices will be able to offer you a wider range of services, play a greater role in the region and have more resources at their disposal to welcome, advise and satisfy you.

The main commitments of Tourist Offices according to their category:

  • To provide an easily accessible reception and information area,
  • Provide a tourist advisor and disseminate quality information,
  • Facilitate touristprocedures,
  • Provide free information on the local tourist offer,
  • Be committed to an internal quality approach,
  • Handle complaints and measure tourist satisfaction.

The Tourism Quality Mark

A sustainable commitment already in place :

Since 2009, our Office has been involved in concrete actions to promote sustainable development:

  • Environment: hiker’s charter, energy-saving equipment, waste reduction, fire risk awareness.
  • Economy: promotion of short circuits, responsible purchasing, support for local producers.
  • Social: Tourisme & Handicap certification, accessible pricing policy, local partnerships, social initiatives for staff.

We also encourage our visitors to adopt responsible behaviour, in particular by promoting free public transport and offering dematerialised documents.

We will keep you informed at every stage of this transition to a Destination of Excellence, so that you can enjoy an ever more responsible and high-quality tourist experience.

The Destination of Excellence label

Our Intercommunal Tourist Office is proud to bear the Qualité Tourisme™ mark, a symbol of quality and trust. Since May 2024, this mark has been evolving to become the Destination d’Excellence label, aimed at strengthening the quality of the entire tourism offer, with a particular focus on eco-responsibility.

We will retain the Qualité Tourisme™ label until 31 December 2026. Between now and then, we will be audited to obtain the new label, which introduces demanding sustainable development criteria.

The Tourism & Disability label

Whether you’re a visitor or a tourism professional, we want to make our region a destination where “being able to welcome” becomes a genuine “wanting to welcome”.
