Welcome to Rucher des Julien in La Destrousse, a family-run apiary certified in organic beekeeping (AB). Situated across from the Garlaban mountain range, the apiary overlooks the Huveaune Valley. Here, the bees thrive in a pristine environment, producing light spring honeys with notes of thyme and rosemary, as well as robust garrigue honeys. Eager to share their passion, these artisans practice transhumance throughout the seasons, moving their hives to the lavender fields of Provence, the chestnut groves of Ardèche, and the high mountains. To enrich this range of local delicacies, the estate also offers delicious chestnut jams and oil. The whole family works hard every day to preserve this environmentally friendly expertise.
